Description

WRP provides a proactive and collaborative framework for senior-policy level Federal, State and Tribal leadership to identify common goals and emerging issues in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah and to develop solutions that support WRP Partners and protect natural and cultural resources, while promoting sustainability, homeland security and military readiness.  WRP is Co-Chaired by the Honorable Gary Herbert, Governor of Utah; Joe Balash, Assistant Secretary for Land and Mineral, U.S. DOI; and Mr. Robert McMahon, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment.

The 2018 Western Regional Partnership (WRP) Principals’ Meeting was held at the Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder, in Santa Fe, NM on November 14 and 15, 2018. The WRP Principals’ Meeting provides an opportunity to learn more about issues impacting the region and to network with other senior-policy level colleagues.  Together, WRP Principals will develop strategies and actions for addressing identified issues and priorities over the next year.
