The WRP Natural Resources Committee in 2016-2017 will:

  • Support the 2016-2017 WRP Regional Assessment Report (see WRP Steering Committee) by exploring relevant WRP Partners’ natural resources-related issues and needs and identifying potential resources available to address them. Additional issues and recommendations may also result from the Regional Assessment.
  • Serve as a forum to share information regarding potential species listing, ecological goals and associated best practices.
  • Serve as a resource for WRP Partners in their regional/large landscape-level conservation efforts (i.e. Fort Huachuca Sentinel Landscape Committee)
  • Assist WRP Partners in engaging in ongoing dialogue on Western water sustainability
